Join us for a party and concert to support upcoming Nunc events. We are raising funds to present the premiere of Michael Hersch’s monodrama, on the threshold of winter.

The evening will include a preview excerpt of the opera, performed by Ah Young Hong and Matei Varga, and an arrangement of one movement of the work for violin and piano.

Translator Adam Sorkin will be on hand to speak and to sign copies of Marin Sorescu’s work, on which the opera is based.

Michael will perform his Two Lullabies for solo piano – a rare chance to watch and hear him play live.

We will have drinks and time to mingle and talk with everyone. Hope you’ll join us on January 13, 4pm!

We ask a minimum donation of $20, and would be grateful for any amount further that you can give. The signed copies of Sorescu/Sorkin The Bridge will be available for an additional donation of $25 (minimum).

You can also donate here on the website through Paypal or by check.
