Williams College residency April 17-19, 2016

Nunc will be in residence at Williams College, Massaachusetts from April 17-19, 2016. In addition to instrumental masterclasses and composition readings, we will give a public concert on April 18 featuring two works by Williams faculty Ileana Perez Velasquez, including a premiere, and two works by Shulamit Ran, who will be present – “Inscriptions” and her new work “Birkat Haderekh”, which was premiered last summer at the Tanglewood Festival. Also on the program: a piano trio by Jay Schwartz and Three Intermezzi by Tôn Thất Tiết. We will be recording the Perez-Velasquez works during the residency.
